A control room sized from signal counts, not guesswork
Barmaan uses this tool to size its own control rooms: give it the I/O count, the plant footprint and the distance to the building, and it computes the PLC cards, cabinets, room areas, cable metre take-off, power and HVAC loads, and a priced bill of materials — then draws the result in 3D and as a real DXF file.
The numbers and the 3D model below are the actual output of the engine on a real, seeded project — nothing on this page is a drawn-up illustration.

What the engine actually computes
One set of inputs, six real outputs
Every number below comes out of the same pure sizing engine (`src/lib/control-room/engine.ts`) the admin studio runs — this page reads its output, it does not recompute anything separately.
I/O, cards and stations
Wired AI/AO/DI/DO channels plus a design spare, turned into PLC card counts and I/O station counts.
Cabinets and room areas
System, network, power and (optional) ESD cabinets, sized from the card count, and the control room, rack room, UPS and HVAC room areas sized from cabinet count and operator positions.
Cable metre take-off
Field-to-junction-box branch cable and junction-box-to-building homerun cable, both computed from the plant footprint and the routing factor, with a junction-box count per signal family.
Power and HVAC load
Electrical load and the UPS size it calls for (rounded to a standard frame), plus the heat and cooling load the room's air conditioning has to carry.
Priced bill of materials
Every line — PLC CPU, I/O cards, SCADA licence, operator consoles, cabinets, UPS, cable, cable tray, junction boxes — priced from a real catalogue, with an economy/standard tier and researched market offers per item.
3D layout, DXF and P&ID sheet
The same site and building layout renders as a clickable 3D model, exports as an AutoCAD-openable DXF file, and can generate a schematic P&ID sheet of the site using Barmaan's own P&ID drawing engine.
