The Yokogawa DPharp EJX110A is a two-wire differential pressure transmitter built around Yokogawa's single-crystal silicon resonant sensor (DPharp). Instead of a strain gauge, two H-shaped micro-resonators on a silicon chip change frequency directly under pressure, giving very high resolution, a reference accuracy of ±0.04% of span (±0.025% with the /HAC high-accuracy option) and long-term stability of ±0.1% of URL over 15 years. The multi-sensing element also measures static pressure and sensor temperature, enabling built-in diagnostics and pressure/temperature compensation. Output is 4-20 mA DC with superimposed BRAIN or HART digital communication (FOUNDATION Fieldbus and PROFIBUS PA are available as separate models). Response time is 90 ms and the sensor spans differential pressures from a fraction of a kPa up to 14 MPa depending on the capsule code (F, L, M, H, V). The unit is IEC 61508 certified (SIL 2 single / SIL 3 dual) and carries IP66/IP67 protection. The specific unit in Barmaan stock is an EJX110A fitted with Badotherm remote diaphragm seals (BSO-48 fill fluid, 44 mm AISI 316L diaphragm) and was configured for a level application (process tag 2510-LT-0161). It is a used industrial instrument, physically available in our warehouse; all nameplate photos are of this exact unit.

DPharp is Yokogawa's single-crystal silicon resonant sensor. Two micro-resonators on a silicon chip change frequency directly under pressure, giving a frequency (digital) signal rather than an analog strain-gauge voltage — the source of the EJX's high accuracy, resolution and stability.
Differential pressure. With impulse lines or (as in this unit) remote diaphragm seals it is used for liquid level in closed/open vessels, flow across an orifice, and general DP/pressure measurement.
Standard reference accuracy is ±0.04% of span, improvable to ±0.025% with the /HAC high-accuracy option, and long-term stability is ±0.1% of URL over 15 years (per Yokogawa GS 01C25B01-01EN).
Remote seals (here Badotherm, BSO-48 fill, 44 mm 316L diaphragm) isolate the transmitter from hot, viscous or corrosive process fluid and let it be mounted away from the tapping points — the standard approach for level on tall or hot vessels.
The EJX110A output is 4-20 mA with BRAIN or HART. Yokogawa also offers EJX110A models with FOUNDATION Fieldbus and PROFIBUS PA as separate model/order codes. This particular unit is the analog 4-20 mA variant.
