The Endress+Hauser Cerabar S PMP75 pressure transmitter is the top-tier member of the Cerabar S family: a metal piezoresistive sensor combined with a flanged diaphragm seal that makes it suitable for hot, viscous, corrosive media and for processes where the medium must not reach the sensor directly. This unit is brand new and physically in stock at the Barmaan warehouse; all the "Barmaan warehouse" images on this page were taken of this very device, and its nameplate — with order code PMP75-A4A2K11B3AAA — is visible in the images.
This unit is calibrated for absolute pressure measurement from 0 to 2 bar (second nameplate: Cal./Adj. 0…2 bar abs), its span is adjustable from 0.02 to 2 bar, and it withstands a maximum working pressure of 13.7 bar — a good combination for vacuum processes, condensers and process vessels. Per the official TI00383P datasheet, the reference accuracy for this sensor is ±0.075% of set span, and the family's long-term stability is 0.05% URL per year.
The device communicates over PROFIBUS PA: it is powered directly from the bus (9 to 32 V DC) and the measured values are transmitted digitally to the control system — a natural choice for sites with a fieldbus infrastructure. This device is completely new (New / Unused), manufactured at the Endress+Hauser factory in Germany (Maulburg), and it is currently physically in stock at the Barmaan warehouse. In the PMP75 the pressure sensor is connected to the process through an oil-filled flanged diaphragm seal. This design is needed when the medium is hot, viscous, corrosive or prone to crystallizing, or when the process temperature exceeds the sensor's limit. The wetted parts of this unit are made of 1.4439/316L and transmit the process pressure without the medium contacting the sensor directly.
PROFIBUS PA is an industrial digital fieldbus: the device is powered directly from the bus (9 to 32 V DC) and the data is transmitted digitally to the DCS/PLC. This unit is a direct choice for systems that have a PROFIBUS PA network (such as Siemens PCS7); if your system requires 4-20mA HART, the Cerabar S family is also available in a HART version — Barmaan's experts will advise you.
Per the nameplate, the calibrated range is 0 to 2 bar absolute with an adjustable span from 0.02 to 2 bar and a maximum working pressure of 13.7 bar. According to the official TI00383P datasheet, the reference accuracy for the 2 bar absolute sensor is ±0.075% of set span (up to a 5:1 turndown).
