The Endress+Hauser Proline Promass F 300 in DN100 (4") pairs the proven Promass F sensor with the latest generation of Endress+Hauser transmitters — the compact Proline 300 platform. The unit offered here was manufactured in September 2022, is entirely new and unused, and is held physically in Barmaan's warehouse. Every "Barmaan stock" photograph in the gallery on this page is of this specific device; its sensor nameplate, carrying order code 8F3B1H-V3P9/0, is legible in those images, and a laboratory calibration sticker dated November 2022 is visible on the housing.
Coriolis measurement is independent of the physical properties of the fluid. Two parallel measuring tubes are driven at their resonant frequency; as the medium passes through them a phase shift proportional to mass flow develops along the tubes, while the resonant frequency itself is a direct function of medium density. The result is simultaneous multivariable measurement — mass flow, volume flow, density and temperature — at a single point in the line, with no straight upstream or downstream runs required for flow conditioning.
The Promass F sensor is the heart of the instrument: measuring tubes in 1.4539 (904L) stainless steel with 1.4404/316/316L process connections, a base accuracy of ±0.10% of reading on liquids (±0.05% with the PremiumCal option), ±0.05% repeatability, 14 kg/h zero point stability at DN100, and a flow range up to 350,000 kg/h. Per its nameplate this particular unit was supplied with a special density calibration of ±0.0005 g/cm³, which makes it a strong candidate for accurate inline density and concentration measurement. The sensor housing is filled with dry nitrogen and, at DN100, is rated 16 bar nominal with an 85 bar burst pressure. Medium temperature runs from −50 to +150 °C, medium density up to 5000 kg/m³, and the flanges are DIN/EN PN16.
The Proline 300 transmitter is Endress+Hauser's new-generation platform: a compact build, a four-line backlit display with touch keys, freely configurable I/O modules (up to three — HART, pulse/frequency, PROFIBUS, Modbus and others), HistoROM memory that retains the configuration, and support for Heartbeat Technology for periodic verification of the flowmeter without interrupting the process (optional package). Supply is dual-rated: 85 to 264 V AC or 19.2 to 28.8 V DC, drawing a maximum of 10 W.
This unit is the General Purpose version — no Ex marking on the nameplate — with IP66/67 ingress protection (Type 4X enclosure), suitable for installation in non-hazardous areas of oil, gas, petrochemical, chemical and food plants. The Promass F 300 family additionally offers functional safety capability up to SIL 2/3 per IEC 61508 as an ordering option.

It is completely new and unused, manufactured by Endress+Hauser in September 2022 (2022-09), and is physically in stock in Barmaan's warehouse right now. A laboratory calibration sticker (MTE, November 2022) is also visible on the housing.
The sensor is the same proven Promass F in both generations; the difference lies in the transmitter. The F 300 runs on the newer Proline 300 platform with freely configurable I/O modules, Heartbeat Technology support (verification without interrupting the process) and HistoROM memory, whereas the 83 generation uses the older Proline platform. If your project calls for the latest generation, this F 300 is the right choice; for a like-for-like replacement on older sites, Promass 83F and 83E flowmeters in DN80 are also currently in Barmaan stock.
The Proline 300 transmitter has modular outputs (up to three I/O modules: 4–20 mA HART, pulse/frequency, PROFIBUS PA/DP, FOUNDATION Fieldbus, Modbus RS485 and others) and works with all the common DCS/PLC systems (Siemens, ABB, Yokogawa, Emerson and so on). The exact I/O configuration of this unit is encoded in its extended order code (8F3B1H-AAIBAAAFAASAD1SAA1+) — Barmaan's engineers decode it and confirm the precise configuration for you before purchase. The device supports both AC supply (85 to 264 V) and DC supply (19.2 to 28.8 V).
Yes. The Promass F 300 Coriolis flowmeter is designed for both liquids and gases; per the official datasheet, mass flow accuracy on gases is ±0.35% of reading, and the gas full-scale value depends on the density and the speed of sound of the gas at operating conditions (following the datasheet formula). Barmaan's engineers run the sizing calculation for you free of charge.
This particular unit is the General Purpose version: the sensor nameplate carries no Ex marking (ATEX/IECEx), only the CE mark — so it is suitable for installation in safe (non-hazardous) areas and must not be used in hazardous areas. The Promass F 300 family does also come in Ex versions; if your project is Zone-rated, Barmaan's engineers will advise on sourcing the correct version.
